Over the years television shows have always given viewers some of the most iconic characters that have inspired others. Now when we say “savage” we don’t mean that in a bad way. It’s meant as another way of saying one is cool, awesome, or hardcore in a way no one else would have the courage be. These characters embody savageness and if you’re unfamiliar with a character we listed, just see for yourself and check out the shows they’re in for your next binge!
1. Ron Swanson – "Parks and Recreation"
For those who know this guy, all we need to say is that he’s Ron f***ing Swanson. If you don’t know Ron, however, this is a guy who knows how to keep it real.
He is brutally honest, sometimes far too honest for his own good, and doesn’t believe in lying. To him the one thing worse than lying is skim milk. While his honest opinions and views are more than hilarious, he doesn’t hold back on anything. From how the government should cease to exist, wood making, to frozen yogurt, Ron is a man of the truth.

2. Captain Holt – "Brooklyn 99"
Captain Raymond Holt helps run the 99th precinct in New York City, but he is also one that doesn’t hold back on his feelings and opinions. Holt has been this way ever since he was a kid, and we’re here for his monotone sass 24/7. If he isn’t roasting his rival, Madeline Wunch, he’s grammatically correcting today’s slang and giving his thoughts on Beyoncé’s Lemonade album.

3. Phoebe Buffay – "Friends"
Pheobe, aka Princess Consuela Banana Hammock, aka Regina Phalange, is the most outspoken character that there is. If her point isn’t heard, she’ll make sure to shout it out until it is. Her loud voice matches her loud personality, standing out wherever she goes.
Giving it straight to her other friends, she doesn’t shy away from being herself, and that’s being a straight up savage and boss.

4. Sheldon Cooper – "The Big Bang Theory"
Being a mega genius means that it also comes with having no filter. Sheldon is no exception to this. As much as we wish we could know everything in the universe like Sheldon, his great power comes with a tiny flaw – always having to be right. Due to this, savagery is in Sheldon’s DNA. While he can spend twenty minutes arguing about this claim, we have the facts to prove him (somewhat) wrong.

5. Olivia Pope – "Scandal"
The boss of bosses, Olivia Pope knows how to talk the talk and walk the walk (especially in her signature, iconic power suits). She knows she’s nothing shy of a queen and those of Shondaland know this is true. Olivia Pope is a straight up boss, and because of that she keeps it straight up real with her peers and yes, even the president.
